37 And said, If thou be the King of the Jews, save thyself.

38 [a]And a superscription was also written over him, in Greek letters, and in Latin, and in Hebrew, THIS IS THAT KING OF THE JEWS.

39 [b]And [c]one of the evildoers, which were hanged, railed on him, saying, If thou be that Christ, save thyself and us.
